Tim Dimoff Tapped to Chair Board of Witness Justice

Long-time Victims' Rights Advocate and Security Expert to Preside Over National Nonprofit
Organization Uniquely Serving Survivors of Violence

Washington, DC – Witness Justice is pleased to announce that Tim Dimoff, President of Akron, OH-based SACS Consulting & Investigative Services, has been voted in as Chair of the Witness Justice Board of Directors.

Witness Justice is a national nonprofit organization created by survivors for survivors, directly serving victims of violent crime throughout the country and offering support to survivors regardless of where they live, when the crime occurred or the person's ability to report the incident.

As a long-time security consultant and victims rights advocate, Dimoff will help lead Witness Justice as it expands to serve the growing numbers of violent crime victims across the United States. Dimoff previously served on the Witness Justice Advisory Board and later joined the Board of Directors as Vice President/Vice Chairperson. He has been instrumental in growing Witness Justice into the successful organization it is today. As Chairperson he will be better able to effectively use his leadership, professional skills and experience as a nationally recognized authority in the areas of high-risk workplace issues, security, vulnerability assessments, terrorism and crime.

"I want to know that fewer and fewer victims are being left behind by the system to face recovery on their own," Dimoff said. "We all need to work together to ensure that crime victims have rights, that those rights are enforced, and that each victim receives the service and support they need to effectively recover from an act of violent crime. "

"It is an honor to have Tim serve as Chair of our Board of Directors," stated Helga West, Founder, President and CEO of Witness Justice. "His knowledge, skills and experience will be a driving force behind our continued success."

Witness Justice is a national nonprofit organization whose mission is to empower survivors of violent crime with the information, support, and tools needed to establish a sense of personal justice and healing.
